Background Dr Pally Ejime Agidi was the pioneer Acting Dean of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, University of Delta, Agbor between 2021-2022. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, University of Delta, Agbor, Delta State. He obtained a B.Sc (Hons) Degree in Political Science from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria in 1987, M.Sc in International Relations from University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria in 1993, Post-Graduate Diploma in Education from University of Port-Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 2010 and PhD in Political Science (International Relations) from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria in 2014 respectively. He was the Head of Department of Political Science in the defunct College of Education, Agbor for two tenures, from 2016 to 2020. He was one time the Deputy Director of DELSU Degree programme 2020-2021 of the defunct College of Education, Agbor. Also, he was the Ag. HOD, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, University of Delta, Agbor, Delta State, 2022-2023. He is currently the Ag. Director, Centre for Educational Technology, University of Delta, Agbor, Delta State. His major areas of research interests include among others, International Relations, Peace Studies ad Conflict Resolutions, Humanitarian Studies, Migration Studies, Government and Politics. He has published articles in both national and international journals. He has equally authored and coauthored many books and contributed chapters to several books. He has edited several books and currently he is an Editor to Wukari International Studies Journal (WISJ). He is also an external examiner to some Colleges of Education. He has attended many conferences both local and international. He is a member of the Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA) and currently the Treasurer of (NPSA) South-South Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and Member Institute of Management Consultant (MIMC). He served in several Committees in the defunct College of Education, Agbor such as Secretary School of Arts and Social Science Welfare Committee 2012-2016, Beautification Committee of the defunct College of Education, Agbor, 2016-2020, member Time Table Committee 2014-2018, Teaching Practice Committee, 2014-2021, Result verification Committee, Exam Officer and Student Adviser for the Department of Political Science, 2010-2016, Chairman, Electoral Committee of College of Education, Agbor 2020 COEASU Election, Chairman, Men of Valour (MOV) Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, Midwest Region 38, Agbor , Delta State 2007-2014, Secretary University of Ibadan Alumni Association (UIAA) Ika Chapter 2013-2019, Secretary General, National Association of Ika Students, University of Ibadan ,1985-1986, Clerk of the House, Independence Hall, University of Ibadan 1985-1986, Secretary and Oghani Ihiun Alisimie, Agbor 2013-2019. Dr Pally Ejime Agidi is currently a member of the Senate of the University of Delta, Agbor and also a member of the Governing Council (representing Senate) of the University of Delta, Agbor.
